We officially welcomed summer during the month of June. Bonnie finished school, we went on our first little family trip to the beach, the kids started swim team, and have been enjoying the new flexibility and having Bonnie home!
Last few days with just this little guy while Bonnie was still in school.
Bonnie's class had a picnic in the garden.
We went to a friend's house to swim.
Swim practice started.
We've been to our neighborhood beach multiple times.
Riser has loved having Bonnie back all the time.
We have been hanging out with neighbors and trying to find new ways to beat the heat.
We have been enjoying summer reading at the library.
We took a trip to the Science museum with some friends. The kids loved it and we didn't even see everything.
Riser got his first swimmers ear that turned into an infection.
We celebrated Father's day!
We've been to Water Country a handful of times.
We've walked/biked CW.
And have done lots of playing at home.
Mom took us all to see Toy Story 5 one rainy day and the kids were so excited!
We've gone to Busch Gardens.
Riser rode Pompeii for the first time and loved it.
We've had neighbors over for pizza nights and the kids caught their very first fireflies (which have been much harder to find than I remember as a kid).
We made popsicle stick boats and tried sailing them.
Bonnie made a pasta salad all by herself for the chapel family picnic.
I took the kids out for ice cream on one particularly hot day.
It has been a fun start to the summer!
