Bonnie's last day of preschool

A couple weeks ago Bonnie had her last day of preschool! We couldn't be more proud of this girl and how much she has thrived and her personality has flourished.

On the last day of school, we got to go witness their 'Moving up' ceremony for all the rising kindergarteners. They all got sunglasses and their teachers told them to dance down the alley when they entered.

They also sang a few very sweet songs.

Then they were handed their certificate for finishing preschool!

She truly had the best teachers this year - we couldn't have asked for a better first school experience for her.

Bonnie also developed a little girl gang from the very start of the year. But of all her little girl friends, she and Eden have been thick as thieves. We've already had two playdates with her since school ended. So thankful for the sweet friendships in her life.

Grandma also came to see the ceremony, Bonnie loved it!

Afterwards Mom treated us all to lunch, it was a great morning!

Bonnie is truly such a fun, cool kid to be around. She is so smart, funny, kind, caring, and brave. We love watching her grow and develop into the amazing person she is!

A visit from Belle

Bonnie recently went to a princess birthday party where they all got to come wearing their favorite princess dress. Little did they know, a princess was actually going to visit! Belle from Beauty and the Beast showed up and the girls (and adults) were enchanted. It was as if she walked right in from Disney World. She read them her story, sang songs, played games (toss the tea bag in the teapot), danced, colored, and just had so much fun with them. It was truly amazing to watch and Bonnie had the best time!

Grammy and Holly visit

Grammy and Aunt Holly went out of their way to make a trip out here possible, and we were very grateful to have them here! The kids and I met up with them at Freedom Park on Friday. Thankfully the weather started getting a little cooler each day after that.

Friday evening Katie hosted everyone at her house for dinner. It's always so fun (and loud) getting everyone together!

We met up at the Farmer's Market Saturday then had lunch at mom's after. That evening Katie, Eric and I came back over to mom's to have a night with just the adults. It was great to get some quality time together.

Sunday everyone came over to our house for dinner, and the weather was perfect! We got to sit outside to eat, play baseball, do some fishing, and just chat.

We also got to spend time together Monday and Tuesday at mom's and enjoyed every minute of it. It was such a wonderful visit and are so thankful for this time together and the effort to make it happen!
