Snow days

December started out with a bang with multiple snow days, which was such a fun way to start the season.

We made snow angels. 

We had snowball fights (Riser's favorite).

We did some minor sledding, and ate lots of snow. 

Then we built a snowman.

Snow seats.

Bonnie had an all-day playdate with her friend down the street. 

They even put on shows in the theme of 'Summer'. 

One of the snow days we made paper snow flakes, read the book 'The Snowy Day', made hot chocolate and painted the cover of the book. 

And obviously did more playing outside.

We drove just down the street to go sledding at one of the big hills. The drive was beautiful!

And Bonnie ate almost an entire bowl of snow for breakfast one morning. 

I absolutely love snow days and hope we get a couple more of them this season.
