May extras

May was a month of closing out the school year, sports, and starting to feel the shift toward summer.

Bonnie has been enjoying setting the table. Her creativity is in all she does. She wrapped up our utensils with napkins and ribbon from her craft supplies. She also wrote us all individual notes at our seats.

We continue to enjoy the Home Depot workshops when we can make it to them.

Bonnie and I had a little date together and her request was a trip to Claire's (she has been wanting to go back ever since Rosie's birthday).

We got to write on stones for the foundation of the new outdoor structure at church.

Some baby birds hatched in a nest in the tree right outside our house.

Bonnie had an 80s day at school.

Her classroom also got to witness baby chicks hatching from their eggs.

We went to a carnival night at her school that both kids loved.

Before church one day.

Notchy has been around a lot lately, she is back to coming inside often and seeming to spend most of her time at our house.

Bonnie got to have a playdate with a friend from school who lives right on the reservoir near our house. Her friend doesn't speak much and it's been a fun friendship to watch develop. Bonnie gets her to talk a lot through puppets.

I've been soaking in the one-on-one time with this boy before summer officially hits.

We did a nice long walk in CW with Grandma.

We made a visit to Busch Gardens.

After multiple failed pool attempts due to rain during Memorial Day weekend, we ended up at a go-kart place near our house. They had a couple little rides, go karts, and an arcade that we could escape into during the rain.

This girl could truly live off of corn and watermelon. They are by far her two favorite foods. She has been loving having them back in season.

Riser had a dentist appointment.

We took a trip to Windsor Castle Park. It was a bit of a drive but fun to explore!

Bonnie went to a birthday party at the gym she did gymnastics at.

We also got to see one of Ben and Rosie's flag football games when Eric was in town.

It was a great month and we are looking forward to summer!
