August extras

We tried to soak in the last bit of summer and no schedules in August. We went to a friend's magic show birthday party - which the kids LOVED.

He even pulled a real bunny out of his hat!

We got to see cousins and friends swim at their champs meet.

We built forts.

Bonnie got a fun goodie bag at a doctor appt. 

We did multiple trips to Busch Gardens. 

Riser and I even got to go on a little date to Busch during Bonnie's first week of school.

I took the kids to the bounce house one rainy morning.

We got to play with cousins.

Color with chalk.

We made homemade ice cream.

We took the boat out. 

Bonnie made cat ears for her and Riser, one of her many crafts she came up with during quiet time.

We had playdates at with friends.

Bonnie still loves helping in the kitchen.

We went to the last chapel family picnic.

We had a picnic in the yard.

We got in beach time whenever we could.

Riser finally got a big boy bed (or a twin mattress, rather). 

Lots of playing in the yard, riding bikes, and just being outside.

It was a great month, and it's also been fun to start learning a new routine. Hello September!
