Bonnie's birthday

Bonnie turned 6 yesterday! She has been counting down the days to her birthday. She woke up to lots of decorations, some presents and donuts for breakfast.

She opened some gifts then she was off to school!

While she was at school we decided to surprise her by painting one of her walls pink.

We picked her up in the afternoon and signed her out early so we could take her to lunch. Then I got to take her to Build a Bear.

That afternoon Grandma came over to celebrate with us and Bonnie was thrilled.

Grandma even made her butterfly cake for her! It was amazing!

She is planning to have a little birthday party this weekend with some friends. It was such a special day - happy birthday to our girl!

Fall Soccer

This soccer season Bonnie was on the Pink Unicorns. She has a great group of friends that have been on the same team for a couple seasons now. They were at the bottom of their age group this year and it definitely wasn't their best season. The only goal scored was one that another team let us score because they felt bad for us. But they had fun!

Riser is ready to get on the field!

October extras

October was a beautiful month. Riser and I had some fun at Home Depot.

Bonnie had some fun with a mask.

I was able to get Riser to wear overalls for 3.5 seconds to snap a picture before he demanded them off.

We've made pancakes on the rare occasion we have a slow morning.

Something about Bonnie watching movies like this is just so sweet I never want to forget (hiding in another room when anything even slightly negative happens).

Picking up Bonnie from school one day so we could go straight to soccer.

The morning of school picture day. Riser wanted in on the action too.

Making bread

We got to celebrate mom's birthday! Her and Dave came over for some lunch and cake.

The kids had a fun bubble bath in our tub with the jets on.

Riser has been loving Dominoes.

The kids tried on lots of fun costume ideas.

Bonnie and I have had some nice one-on-one time during Riser's naps on the weekends.

The kids were very excited to see our house got 'Booed'.

Bonnie and I went to see Eleanor's last volleyball game. It was so fun to watch! And Bonnie ran into a friend from her class so they got to sit together.

Going to have lunch with Bonnie at school.

Riser and I have had some playdates with his little boy crew.

Onward to November!
