October extras

October's weekends were full of visits from family. Outside of that, we enjoyed the Fall weather with lots of time outside, fall activities, school events, and hanging with friends.

Riser and I went to see Bonnie lead prayer and sing in their chapel service one day.

One weekend that we were hanging out at Katie's, Jane tried to teach Bonnie how to crochet. Bonnie is still hoping with enough lessons from Jane, she will be able to learn. We are working on learning how to tie our shoes in the meantime.

The kids have been very into pulling out every bike, trike, and scooter that we own and riding them around the front yard. It is probably their favorite pastime right now.

Sometimes Notch joins us on our bike rides.

The kids get very excited when their Highlights magazines come in.

Just another random morning I was thinking I never want to forget this face.

Bonnie had her school pictures taken recently. I tried to get a couple in the morning before she left.

Benny being silly one morning with some balloons.

Bonnie also being silly.

We went for donuts one morning.

Sometimes you just need to rest on a dump truck.

The kids helped make our annual scarecrow.

Riser and I have taken some beautiful fall walks while Bonnie is in school.

And we made a 'leaf rainbow.'

We went to Pumpkinville.

Bonnie's preschool hosted a fun little Harvest festival.

We've been enjoying walking around CW again now that the weather has been nicer.

The kids also love when I come back from Costco with boxes - their favorite things to play with.

October was a beautiful month!
