Summer water fun

We have been fully embracing the summer break over here. It has been very hot lately, which means anything we do outdoors needs to involve water. Here are some of the ways we are beating the heat:

We've spent lots of time at our neighborhood beach.

We've made multiple trips to Water Country already - many with mom, and a couple times with the cousins!

We've also taken advantage of the water rides at Busch Gardens.

We went to a friend's backyard birthday party.

We've enjoyed going to the pool with friends. 

We've pulled out all the water toys and made good use of the backyard.

We've gone to Yorktown Beach with friends. 

We had a playdate with friends who have an inflatable slide. 

We have also started swim lessons a couple times a week. 

It's been a hot, but great started to the summer - and we are thankful for all the water activities around us!
