Easter morning the kids were excited to see their baskets. They had just enough time to look through them before we headed to church.
After church we hid a couple Easter eggs in the backyard since we missed the neighborhood egg hunt this year. They had so much fun they wanted us to re-hide them a second time.

Next we decided to experiment with a new way to dye easter eggs using shaving cream and food coloring. I will say it was a lot more involvement and more fun for the kids than the typical method. I think we will probably do this again next time!
That evening Benny's parents arrived to spend Spring Break with us. We had a dinner of ribs and mashed potatoes. Then we called it an early night as everyone was tired and needed rest for the week ahead!
