Holly Fork Farm

We went to Holly Fork Farm for the first time this year, which turned out to be a lot bigger and had more to offer than Pumpkinville. I'm still missing apple picking, corn mazes, and haunted forests like we had so readily available in northern VA! But Bonnie thoroughly enjoyed herself which is all we were really looking for.

She loved being toted around in the big red wagon.

She couldn't get over all the inflatables they had. We went on a weekday and there was hardly anyone there.

There was a little area with all kinds of slides and hay bales/tires/etc to climb on.

They had lots of farm animals to see.

We also did a hay ride that took us around the pumpkin patches and to see more animals.

It was a wonderful day! I ended up going back a week or two later with some friends from a moms group I'm in. It was so much more crowded, there were lots of field trips happening. It didn't stop the little kids from still having a blast.

We are thankful to have found another great place to get in the Fall spirit around here. We will be back next year!
