June extras

Summer went into full swing in June! We went to the Chapel block party where Bonnie got to color a flower pot and plant pink flowers - basically her perfect activity.

Riser started making a funny new face.

Riser did his first one mile hike, mostly without help.

And he loved the freedom!

He has also loved pushing around the baby stroller.

We went to the lavender farm with friends.

That's Bonnie's dear friend Addie in the back.

Bonnie finished up her last month of gymnastics.

We went to Busch Gardens and I got to do all the roller coasters with Uncle Eric.

We've grilled out with friends.

We've worn ourselves out.

We continue to learn a lot on our chicken journey.

We've had some pretty epic water fights.

Our girl continues to love dresses and accessorizing.

Went on a walk and had to leave all 7 of our kids with one of my friends for a couple minutes - brave!

Bonnie and one of her besties, Ellie.

Popsicles are a very exciting part of our summer!

We celebrated Father's Day with Water Country and grilling out.

We've been back to enjoying our neighborhood beach.

Bonnie took swim lessons with some of her friends.

Just a boy and his monkey.

We visited the Virginia Living Museum.

We've had quite a bit of rain, but it hasn't stopped us from getting outside.

I played in our neighborhood's annual volleyball tournament, and Eric braved the kids at the beach all afternoon.

Riser is officially participating in the dancing portion of worship at the chapel picnics.

And getting lots of attention from the big girls.

It's been a lovely month! We have been enjoying the flexibility of Summer.
