Easter

Although we didn't have any real set plans for Easter, it turned out to be a busy weekend. We went down the street to a Good Friday service after work. Saturday morning we met up with Alison's family for an Easter egg hunt for the girls.

It was a beautiful day to be out, and so funny watching all the kids' strategies for collecting eggs. Sienna only wanted pink or purple eggs; she only ended up with two. Thankfully one of them had her favorite candy in it.

They also had all kinds of inflatable bounce houses and slides for the kids to play on.

Then we went to take a ride on the Poway-Midland Railroad.

It uses a steam engine. You could see them filling it with water after each little tour.

The next morning I made pancakes and tried to make them look like Easter eggs.

Eric and I made baskets for each other which was a lot of fun.

Then we headed to church and pretty much relaxed the rest of the day! It was a really nice weekend celebrating with family. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter, and I hope this Spring is starting to bring warmer weather for the East coast :)
