Eric ended up making his scarecrow again this year, and Bonnie immediately wanted to sit on his lap.
(Somehow she can warm up to this guy but I would bet money that she will have nothing to do with sitting on Santa's lap this year.)
She ran around all morning on her 'broomstick'.
We carved pumpkins after church. Bonnie requested a bunny on hers.
We roasted the pumpkin seeds.
While B was napping, Eric and I pulled together some last minute costumes. Bonnie was a lion.
We decided to be the scarecrow and tin man.
We stopped to meet up with some friends first. Then it was time to trick or treat!
Most of our neighbors now sit at the end of their driveways with a little table and bowl of candy so kids can hit more houses faster.
Our neighborhood goes all out for this holiday. Some streets were so crowded you could hardly get through. The house below actually hired a DJ and had fireworks that would go off behind these creepy scarecrows every 10 minutes or so.
Our pumpkins greeted us when we got home.
And this little lion was in heaven.
It was such a fun night - Happy Halloween!
Your neighborhood is GREAT for Halloween!! And I'm cracking up that Bonnie sat with the scarecrow - maybe it was because it was Eric's clothes??
