We celebrated a milestone birthday for Eric this month - his 40th! He ended up having to travel for work over his actual birthday but arrived home to a surprise visit from his parents (and his sister the following day)! It was the hardest surprise to keep and plan for, but it was so worth it.
We treated the day he got home as his birthday, which always includes decorations, cake, and a few gifts. His mom also made the meal he had been so missing from her - ham croquettes.
The following Saturday we had a big birthday party for our local neighbors, friends, and family. It was an amazing turnout! Aside from family traveling all the way out, he had friends drive from hours away to make it to the party as well. The weather couldn't of been better, we had lots of food and great company.
The Strattons brought out the jump ropes which were a huge hit with the kids.
It was such a wonderful week full of people that love and support Benny. I'm so thankful for the incredible husband, father, and human that he is. What a life worth celebrating!
