December extras

December was a very full month! In between all the fun Christmas activities, we were finishing shopping, wrapping gifts, cleaning, and prepping for my in-laws to come on the 20th.

We soaked in the last bit of time we had with our neighbor friend before his family moved to Louisiana.

I went to a Christmas pajama ornament exchange party one night.

We did our Christmastown trip early in the month.

Our first actual family ride together - the teacups!

Bonnie and Benny love the swings (he's wearing the santa hat).

We continued spending lots of time outside. We found a plastic play kitchen on the side of the road in our neighborhood - perfect for the outdoor playset!

Meals have been enjoyed.

I had fun decorating, another one of my favorite parts of the season.

Bonnie made orange cloves in our homeschool group - it smelled amazing! This may be a new annual activity.

Bonnie had her 4 year check-up finally.

Eric has enjoyed lots of fishing, and we have enjoyed lots of spectating.

Grandma McGyvered a baseball tee for the kids. They have been practicing!

Bonnie has been loving her cousins being at the same service as us (we often attend different services).

Bonnie has relished in all the baking this time of year.

My mom's group did a white elephant gift exchange.

By far one of my favorite activities was cuddling the kids watching a Christmas movie - I need to stop and do this more often.

We've done walks in CW and played in the leaves.

I got to go to Eric's work Christmas dinner for the first time since 2019 (families haven't been invited since before the pandemic).

Katie and Chris watched the kids, and they had a blast of course.

Bonnie and Riser got to open their photo books from Grammy. They feel so special having a book each year all about them!

We got to go over and see Eleanor's Christmas concert at school - so cute!

My mom's group had a Christmas party/cookie exchange that included some hilarious games.

Just because it's December doesn't mean we don't still enjoy the beach.

We attended our church's live nativity with both our small group and cousins.

Riser's favorite cabinet right now is the tupperware cabinet.

This is everything up to December 20th! Next is the visit from Benny's parents.
